Kathrin Heinrich studied physics at the Heinrich-Heine-University in Düsseldorf (Germany) and at the Université de Nantes (France) with focus on laser spectroscopy and medical technology. She received a graduate degree in physics in 2007. In 2011, she received her PhD from Heinrich Heine University Düsseldorf with a dissertation on the detection of trace gases using infrared laser spectroscopy.
Kathrin Heinrich completed her training as a patent attorney at a renowned Düsseldorf law firm. In addition, Kathrin Heinrich completed her studies in law for patent attorneys at the FernUniversität in Hagen.
After further training at the Düsseldorf Higher Regional Court, the German Patent and Trademark Office and the Federal Patent Court, she was admitted to practice as a patent attorney in 2016.
Kathrin Heinrich has been with the firm since 2015.
