Ralf Gödde, born in 1968, studied physics and mathematics at the University of Konstanz and electrical engineering at the University of Siegen. He received a graduate degree in electrical engineering in 1996, specializing in theoretical electrical engineering and control engineering. Afterwards Ralf Gödde was a research assistant at the Institute of Control Engineering at the University of Siegen until 2001. In cooperation with the Anatomical Institute of the University of Freiburg, he wrote his dissertation on "Modeling and Simulation of the Control of Dynamic Structure Formation Processes of Vascular Systems and their Mass Transport and Distribution Performance"; the University of Siegen awarded Ralf Gödde a doctorate degree in engineering in 2001. From 2000 to 2003, he worked for a leading manufacturer of software and hardware for control unit development.
Ralf Gödde taught the subject Embedded Control in the English-language master's program Mechatronic at the University of Siegen starting in 2001, and has been working in the field of industrial property protection at Gesthuysen, now a patent law firm, since 2003. During this time, he completed is studies in general law for patent attorneys at the FernUniversität Hagen. After his admission as a patent attorney, Ralf Gödde joined the Gesthuysen partnership as a partner in 2006, and he has been advising his clients in all areas of intellectual property law ever since.
